As a Functional Safety Engineer, you play a key role in developing and supporting safety-related functions across our systems. You ensure compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements, contributing to robust, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
You lead and support risk assessments, develop safety concepts, and drive verification and validation activities. In addition, you are responsible for documenting functional safety processes and act as a specialist supporting cross-functional teams within the product line. You actively contribute to competence development, consistency, and continuous improvement within safety-related development. The role may also take a leading part in our work to fulfil upcoming regulatory requirements, including the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Data Act, ensuring that our products and development practices align with new compliance expectations.
In this role, you collaborate closely across disciplines, influencing technical solutions and ensuring that safety is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
You are a structured and quality-driven professional with strong ownership and a proactive approach to risk management. You collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and influence safety-related decisions with confidence.
