Job summary

Float Finance is seeking a Fullstack Engineer with a backend and data focus in Stockholm, onsite. You will design and build data infrastructure, transform financial data into usable datasets, and collaborate with risk analysts while contributing to the fullstack product.

The role requires experience with data pipelines, ETL, data modeling, and frontend React, plus Python/Django and cloud tooling. You will join a small, fast-moving team working to create a unified fintech platform.

You'll be engineer #2, responsible for building up our data infrastructure while contributing to the fullstack product.

What you’ll do

• Design and build our data infrastructure from the ground up
• Transform raw financial data into datasets that power our products and risk analysis
• Collaborate closely with our risk analysts to understand business and customer needs
• Contribute to the fullstack product

What we’re looking for

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL, and data modeling in production
• Comfortable with backend dev (Python, Django) and frontend (React)
• You use AI tools like Claude Code to ship faster
• Experience with financial data (banking, payments, accounting) is a plus
• High ownership, low ego, startup pace
• Based in Stockholm and happy to work from the office full-time
