Job summary

Schneider Electric in Lund is seeking a highly motivated Fullstack Developer to join our Fire R&D SW development team. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems, and provide user support in our FireExpert platform while applying best practices in an Agile, iterative environment.

You will work across backend in .NET/C# with ASP.NET Core and frontend in TypeScript/JavaScript using ReactJS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering.
• Experience with .NET/C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Frontend in TypeScript/JavaScript with ReactJS.
• Test-driven development including integration and unit tests.
• Database knowledge: SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with Git, VS Code, Visual Studio and CI/CD.
• Agile software practices and effective teamwork.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Fullstack Developer to join our Fire R&D SW development team in Lund. You will be responsible for creating applications from scratch, configuring existing systems, and providing user support in our FireExpert platform. In this role, you should write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects, be a team player, and communicate effectively. You will ensure best practices are followed while remaining responsive in a dynamic, iterative Agile development setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, secure, reusable and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Web technologies, single‑page applications, security requirements, and multi‑tenant SaaS applications
• Backend development in .NET/C# with ASP.NET Core
• Front‑end development in TypeScript/JavaScript with ReactJS
• Test‑driven development, including integration tests, unit tests and end‑to‑end tests
• Database knowledge: SQL Server, Entity Framework, No‑SQL databases
• Tools: Git, VS Code, Visual Studio
• Familiar with continuous integration and Agile software best practices
• Strong team player, eager to learn and grow
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• An advantage is experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep or Terraform and DevOps automation workflows
