Job summary

X Shore is seeking a Full Stack Developer to own the software seen by customers — the onboard interface, mobile app, and cloud backend. The role emphasizes frontend work with a React-based onboard UI, while owning the entire stack from device to API and telemetry platform.

The candidate will work on the boat’s gateway, mobile apps, and cloud services, with regular on-site presence in Nyköping and collaboration with an external design partner to maintain a seamless owner experience.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend skills with production React experience.
• Ability to work across the full stack — backend services and APIs.
• Practical cloud experience: deployed, operated, and monitored services in production.
• Experience building and releasing mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Comfortable owning the operational side and detecting issues early.
• Familiar with AI tools in daily development and code review.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the onboard UI — React app on Linux IoT gateway.
• Design, build, and release the mobile app for iOS and Android.
• Ensure consistent experience across boat and app; collaborate with external design partner.
• Own the cloud environment: telemetry platform, services, deployments, monitoring, access control, cost.
• Operate ThingsBoard as telemetry platform: profiles, ingestion, dashboards, retention, upgrades.
• Maintain the customer-facing REST API: authentication, versioning, documentation.
• Build backend services supporting app, boat interface, and API.
• Manage remote access to boats in the field.
• Monitor operations to detect issues before customers do.
• Collaborate with embedded team on boat-to-cloud data boundary.
