Job summary

Futuris Recruitment represents a Stockholm-based AI startup seeking an experienced full-stack engineer with ML and data expertise to join the team. You will collaborate with the CTO, splitting time between shipping product features and performing data science work behind the scenes.

You'll build and own prediction models, manage training pipelines, ensure data integrity, and design prompts evaluated across multiple LLM providers. The stack includes TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, BigQuery on GCP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python for ML/DS.
• Experience shipping ML models with measurable impact.
• Solid SQL and schema design instincts.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Fluent English, Stockholm-based.

Responsibilities

• Build and own prediction models, including training pipelines and drift recalibration.
• Ensure data integrity with SQL feature builders and versioned exports.
• Ship features turning model output into customer-facing product features.
• Design prompts and evaluate outputs across multiple LLM providers.

Job description

Our client in Stockholm is looking for an experienced full-stack engineer, with ML and Data expertise, for their team.

The Position

You'll be working with a fast growing AI start-up building a product that uses agents to audit and optimises e-commerce ad spend. You'll be part of a small team and report directly to the CTO and split your time between shipping product and doing the data science behind it.

The work:

• Building and owning prediction models, including the training pipelines, evals and recalibration when they drift
• Keeping the data honest: feature builders in SQL, versioned exports, backfills, no leakage, no silent schema drift
• Shipping the features that turn model output into something that customers use.
• Prompt design and structured-output evals on the audit agent, across multiple LLM providers

Stack

TypeScript (Node, Nest, React), Python for the ML (pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch), PostgreSQL and BigQuery, everything running on GCP.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience in Software Engineering
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and comfortable in Python for ML/DS.
• You've shipped ML models people actually depended and know what good looks like.
• Good SQL and schema design instincts
• Experience in the Cloud, ideally GCP.
• Fluent English Speaker, based in Stockholm
