Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a senior software engineer to join a small, highly capable team in Stockholm. You will own core platform features including the payment engine, while pushing AI-enabled improvements across the stack.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup with a central Stockholm HQ, building scalable services and web interfaces that scale to millions of users across Europe.

The role:

Currently, looking for an experienced engineer to join their team focused on the core platform, the payment engine and platform!

You’ll jump into an incredibly small & talented engineering team where product & commercial outcomes are central to the engineering, with a tonne of complex technical challenges and building on a scaling platform, expanding across Europe, new markets, millions of users and beyond!

You will:

• Have the autonomy and ownership to build and own your features and systems end to end, from architectural decisions to launch
• Build scalable, high-reliability systems
• Leverage AI daily and explore new areas where AI can be applied into production for real user value
• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications
• Designing backend APIs in TypeScript / Node.js , exposed via GraphQL
• Building modern and efficient interfaces in Next.js / React
• Developing Python services for integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI or others)
• Contribute to architectural choices and ensure code quality
• Frontend : React, Next.js
• API : GraphQL
• Practices: automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a strong Senior Software Engineer who combines technical depth and product sense. You are able to take onwership and drive your own tasks, operate in a pragmatic nature with startup pace, and be keen to be part of an incredibly humble but high agency, charistmatic and collaborative team!

You should have:

• Significant experience building and shipping production software
• A track record of owning complex features or initiatives from idea to launch
• Strong architectural and systems-thinking skills
• Experience working closely with product/business stakeholders
• A genuine interest in the why, not just the technical implementation
• The ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and make pragmatic trade-offs
• High ownership and autonomy — you're comfortable figuring things out rather than waiting for detailed requirements
• Curiosity around AI and emerging technology, with good judgement around when and where to apply it
• A desire to build things that have measurable customer and business impact

This is a permanent role, hybrid out of a beautiful central Stokholm HQ.
