Job summary

DigiTech Search is partnering with a Swedish aviation SaaS expert in Stockholm to hire a Fullstack Developer. You will work across backend and frontend to build web and desktop products that process real-time flight data, contributing across the stack and influencing cloud infrastructure.

Expect to use TypeScript, Node.js, React, AWS, Docker and CI/CD, lead technical work from idea to release, and collaborate with engineering, product, design and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Frontend experience, ideally with React.
• Good knowledge of relational databases and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and modern development practices.
• Demonstrated ownership of technical projects and English fluency.

We are working with a successful Swedish SaaS company developing specialist software for the international aviation and flight-simulation market, creating products for a global community that has millions of active users.

The company combines the stability of an established product business with the collaborative and creative environment of a smaller technology company.

About the position:

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join an experienced product-development team in Stockholm.

You will work across backend and frontend development, helping build web and desktop products that process and present complex aviation and real-time flight data.

The position has a strong backend and system-design element, but you should be comfortable contributing across the complete technology stack. You will also have the opportunity to influence cloud infrastructure, development processes and technical direction.

What you will work on:

• Design and develop backend services and user-facing applications
• Build APIs used by internal products and external development partners
• Process and visualise high-volume, real-time flight data
• Develop reliable and maintainable software using TypeScript and Node.js
• Contribute to AWS infrastructure, Docker environments and CI/CD processes
• Lead technical work from initial idea through development and release
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design and technical leadership

Core skills:

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience building backend services and designing software systems
• Frontend development experience, ideally with React
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with AWS or another public cloud platform
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD and modern development practices
• Experience taking ownership of technical projects
• Professional fluency in English

Relevant additional experience:

• NestJS, React Native or Electron
• Rust or WebAssembly
• Real-time data, streaming or data-processing pipelines
• Geographic, mapping or navigation technology
• Debugging or reverse-engineering complex systems
• Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK or simulator integrations
• Aviation, avionics or flight simulation

A background in aviation is not essential. Curiosity, technical ownership and an interest in solving unusual engineering challenges are more important.
