Job summary

CoolPeople Technology is seeking a Principal Full-Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus and deep AWS experience. You will lead the user experience of key applications in Customer Connect, primarily using React and TypeScript.

Beyond frontend, you will design and implement robust APIs and backend services on AWS, including serverless architectures, to ensure seamless end-to-end product functionality. You will collaborate across an agile team with UX designers, product owners, and testers.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a Principal Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on frontend development and solid experience with AWS.

You will be a key member of the team responsible for the user experience of key applications within Customer Connect. You will primarily work with React and TypeScript.

Although frontend development is your main area of expertise, you will also contribute across the entire technology stack—by designing and implementing robust APIs and backend services using Amazon Web Services, particularly serverless architecture. The goal is to ensure seamless end-to-end product functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploying, operating, and maintaining applications while continuously improving their quality, functionality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Actively participating in the design of solutions and architecture for new services.
• Developing full-stack functionality, including the design of APIs and backend services on AWS.
• Ensuring high standards of application quality, performance, security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Working closely with UX designers, Product Owners, architects, testers, and other developers in an agile team.

Must-Have Skills

Experience Requirements:

• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native development, including serverless architectures.
• Extensive experience with spec-driven development and code reviews.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming, microservices architecture, and cloud services.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Experience with mobile or connected applications is a major plus.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
