Job summary

Kraken is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Payments & Blockchain team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality payment processing systems and ensure secure, reliable fund transfers across digital and fiat channels.

You will partner with product and security teams to ship features that improve onboarding, transaction speed, and resilience, while mentoring engineers and upholding coding standards in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development, web/mobile applications.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, and React/React Native experience.
• Experience with payment systems or fintech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality payment processing systems.
• Build seamless transaction experiences optimizing speed, security, and reliability.
• Ensure onboarding experiences are intuitive for users interacting with payment systems.
