Qualifications

• Experience developing customer-focused web-based services, using HTML/JavaScript.
• Experience working with a state-less and highly transactional end user product.
• Good understanding of architecture, performance optimisation, testing, debugging, and maintainable code design.
• Experience working with video playback, streaming, media apps, or complex mobile user journeys.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical trade-offs clearly.
• A pragmatic engineering mindset with attention to reliability, quality, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain features on our platform, related to ads monetisation in a modern mobile app
• Work with tracking and measurement of ads, and ad decisioning integrations
• Contribute smooth, reliable ad experiences across live, linear, and on-demand streaming use cases
• Collaborate with backend and platform teams on integrations involving client-side and server-side ad insertion workflows
• Improve app performance, stability, observability, and user experience around ad playback
• Participate in technical discovery, architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and release activities
• Help troubleshoot complex production issues related to playback, ads, analytics, and device-specific behaviour
