Jefferson Frank is partnering with a client in Sweden to recruit a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing data and analytics team transforming large-scale engineering and sensor data into actionable business insights.

You will lead the design and deployment of production-grade ML models, mentor junior practitioners, and communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders while driving innovative data solutions forward.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field with strong data science foundation.
• 5+ years in data science or ML with production-grade pipelines.
• Strong Python and data libraries (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).

I have a client who are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join a high-performing data and analytics team focused on transforming large scale engineering and sensor data into actionable business insights. You'll be joining a team working on cutting edge science, machine learning and AI projects, helping to solve complex challenges and drive innovation. This position is ideal for a senior professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for mentoring others.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets to generate meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Design, develop, validate, and deploy advanced machine learning models.
• Lead data science initiatives from concept through to production deployment.
• Drive innovation through the evaluation and adoption of emerging AI and machine learning technologies.
• Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of scalable analytical and machine learning solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, PySpark
• Strong understanding of Statistical Modelling, Machine Learning algorithms, Predictive analytics, Time-series analysis.
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade data and machine learning pipelines.
• Previous experience working with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar modern data platforms.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
• Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Streamlit, React, or other front-end technologies.
• Previous Mentoring, Technical leadership, or team guidance Experience
