Job summary

Vistra Srl, on behalf of its client, is seeking an HSE freelancer for a project in Sweden at a steel plant. You will ensure that all contractors comply with safety plans and you will audit and inspect the HSE program on site.

The role requires fluent English and the ability to obtain an EU work permit (A1). Italian language is a preferred asset. The project runs until 31 March 2027, Monday to Friday 9 hours per day, with Saturday mornings on site.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience on construction sites for industrial plants.
• Ability to audit and inspect HSE/Safety areas.
• Fluent English; Italian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with safety plans.
• Audit and inspect HSE/Safety on site.
• Attend toolbox meetings with on-site companies.
• Monitor safety conditions and report critical issues.
• Prepare reports and communicate results to the site manager.
• Support continuous improvement of the site's HSE performance.
