Safety Bolt AB seeks an exceptionally driven strategist with startup exposure to join as a high-ambition leader. You will own core operational, financial and strategic tasks, collaborating directly with the founder and COO.

The role is designed as a stepping-stone to greater ownership as the company scales toward its large €13M LOI and beyond. You must thrive on solving novel problems, automate workflows with AI, and drive toward substantial valuation growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy, investment bank, private equity, or a comparable analytical function.
• Experience at a startup in a leading role where you drove outcomes.
• Strong conceptual and analytical ability. You have built a model that a real decision was made on.
• Self-motivation and high energy: you set your own agenda and act without supervision.
• Strong practical use of AI to automate your own work, with something concrete you can show.

Responsibilities

• Take on a broad range of operational, financial and administrative tasks, learning the company bottom up while progressively taking on more responsibility and leadership
• Work with me and the COO to build the company AI-first. Let’s strive towards automating as much as possible, so that the leverage compounds for you and for the company
• Prepare the analysis behind pricing, market sizing, and go-to-market decisions. Build and own the financial model, the board pack, and the investor update
• Run parts of the commercial pipeline end to end: account research, outreach, follow-up, and CRM discipline
• Support the preparation of the next funding round
• Take on the work you see is needed without being asked, and grow your role in the direction where you create the most value

We're Safety Bolt and given our recent 2.6MEUR fundraise and 13M LOI, we're seeking highly driven, top 1% talent to join our team and scale our monitoring solution to a €b Infrastructure market.

The Role

You will be given ownership in the company as you work directly with me and the COO, starting with whatever most needs solving that week to offload me across a broad set of tasks. As you learn about the company, the industries and the clients, you proactively take the lead, shaping your own path as well as the company’s. This role is about growing into a leader who takes increased ownership to help deliver our first €13M LOI. If successful, this may in itself 6X our valuation, while we target a >50X increase over the next 4 years, within a far larger underlying market.

This is deliberately a stepping-stone role, and the expectation is that you outgrow it as you automate tasks away, as a strong and proven user of AI, and help scale the company. The person I am looking for here is the same kind as the COO, the main difference is seniority. This is not a “comfortable title”, this is likely the steepest learning curve you’ll find.

I set high ambitions and have strong views but can be convinced by facts and rational arguments. I look forward to you, over time, starting to challenge my pace and ambitions to push all of us to improve. This role requires intrinsic motivation and drive, maturity in handling your ego and emotions, and honesty in recognizing mistakes. I do not pretend to be perfect or expect this from you, but it’s critical that we all seek truth and communicate honestly and transparently, to develop as a team.

What you will do

Nice to have

• Founding experience of your own, however small the outcome
• Enough SQL, Python, or scripting to automate a process end to end
• Interest in heavy industry, hardware, or energy
• Experience with fundraising processes or investor reporting

Education

MSc in Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent, with strong academic results. Education is less important than a documented track record of analytical work at a high standard.

6+ years combining top-tier analytical work with startup exposure. I am looking for someone early in their career but already demonstrably ahead of their peers, and who will grow into a senior position as the company scales.
