Klarna is seeking a data scientist with an ML background to join our analytics team. You’ll be proficient in Python and SQL and comfortable shipping production code in the cloud (AWS) with Git/CI.

You will forecast both classical and ML-based models, own end-to-end model lifecycle, and produce dashboards and narratives for finance leaders, while ensuring maintainable code and strong governance. Collaborate across teams and explore cutting-edge AI tools to enhance planning.

Qualifications

• Academic background in quantitative field (math/physics/engineering).
• Proficient in Python and SQL; production-ready cloud code (AWS) with Git/CI.
• Experience with forecasting methods (classical and ML) and model tuning.

Responsabilités

• Build and deploy forecasting models across P&L and balance sheet.
• Own end-to-end model lifecycle from data sourcing to validation.
• Design driver-based forecasts and reconcile outputs across markets.
• Productionize solutions in Klarna’s cloud, automate pipelines with Airflow and Docker.
• Create dashboards and narratives for finance leadership.
