Job summary

STARK is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to lead on-site flight test campaigns, manage the daily tempo, and convert raw data into actionable insights. You will coordinate pilots, software engineers, and ground crew, ensuring clear priorities and schedules on the range.

The role emphasizes end-to-end test planning, hazard assessments, and rigorous data handling using MATLAB/Python, with involvement in ArduPilot and PX4-based systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Professional-level English communication.
• NATO citizenship due to export control and security regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site test coordination: daily operations and priorities on the range.
• Perform flight test planning, hazard assessment, and data-driven analysis.
• Develop flight test techniques and instrumentation requirements to capture key metrics.
• Lead Flight Readiness Reviews and safety reviews where applicable.
