Job summary

Freyrecruitment seeks a first mate for a 37m sailing yacht. Start in November; the yacht will charter in the Caribbean this winter before heading to the North West Passage itinerary. After a short yard period in the Med, the team plans to depart in December.

This is a hands-on role with deck duties, watchkeeping, and prior experience running the deck on a large sailing yacht. The crew will operate a dual-season programme, gaining exposure to high-profile itineraries and complex sailing

A 37m sailing yacht is seeking a First Mate to join in November.

The yacht operates a dual-season programme and will spend this winter chartering in the Caribbean before heading north for an exciting North West Passage itinerary.

Following a short yard period in the Med, they are aiming to depart in December.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well reputed programme with an ambitious cruising itinerary. Candidates must be confident sailors, watch keepers, and will have prior experience running and maintaining the deck on a large sailing yacht.

The exterior has the help of a Deck/Stew but it is still very much a hands on role
