Qualifications

As Nordisk Renting continues to grow through acquisitions and portfolio expansion, they are looking for a Financial Controller to help shape and develop the future finance function.

In this role, you will act as a key driver of change within Finance, helping to elevate processes, systems, and ways of working to support a growing and increasingly complex business. You combine strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to convert financial insights into improvements, driving change and influencing decision-making across the business.

This position offers extensive exposure across the full finance spectrum within a fast-growing international real estate business. You will have the opportunity to drive and take ownership of various change and transformation initiatives, playing an active role in supporting the company's ambitious growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Manage accounting, financial control, and reporting for a portfolio of SPV entities.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver financial analysis and variance reporting to support decision-making.
• Prepare statutory reporting and support external audit activities.

Systems & Process Development

• Maintain and enhance Unit4 and other integrated systems.
• Optimise finance processes, controls, and ways of working.
• Drive automation and efficiency improvements across the finance function.
• Support system development and finance transformation initiatives.

Financial Control and Governance

• Strengthen and maintain robust financial control frameworks.
• Support governance initiatives and ensure compliance with Group reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the enhancement of internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and transparency.

Qualifications And Experience

We are looking for a finance professional with several years of experience in accounting, financial control, or a similar finance role. Experience from the real estate or property sector is highly valued, as is a solid understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ideal candidates will combine strong analytical capabilities with a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and process improvement. You are naturally curious, driven to identify opportunities for optimisation, and confident leading initiatives that create harmony, efficiency and business value. Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Unit4, and leveraging technology, automation, and digital solutions to enhance financial processes is highly relevant.

Success in this role requires excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, with the ability to translate complex financial matters into clear and actionable insights. You bring a structured and detail‑oriented approach, while proactively partnering with stakeholders across the business to get things done.
