Job summary

Ericsson in Kista, Sweden is seeking a newly graduate with a passion for RF measurements to join the Product Integration team. You will work with hardware and software to bring radio products to life and collaborate with teams across countries.

You will secure RF performance, participate in bring-up to a mature state, and gain hands-on experience in OTA chambers, Massive MIMO, and integration lab while learning from HW design, Production, and Radio SW teams.

Qualifications

• RF measurement and instrument handling experience.
• Knowledge of wireless systems and digital signal analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Secure and optimize the radio unit’s RF performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systemization and production teams.
• Work in an international environment with colleagues across countries.
• Address manufacturing-to-field issues and customer issues.
• Develop Remote and Massive MIMO radios.
• Use the integration lab and RF equipment/OTA chambers.
• Interact daily with HW design, Production, HW system, Validation and Radio SW teams.

We are 2 teams with about 30 engineers who thrive on collaboration and problem-solving.

Working closely with hardware, software, systemization, and production teams, we take products on an exciting journey from the very first bring-up to a mature, feature-complete state, ready for formal validation.

What you will do:

• Secure and optimize the radio unit’s functionality and RF performance
• Work in teams mastering radio product components
• Work in an international surrounding and cooperate with our colleges in various countries
• Take care of sophisticated and exciting issues originating from the manufacturing of our products all the way to customer issues in the field
• Work with development of Remote and Massive MIMO radios
• Have access to our well-equipped Integration lab and do hands‑on work with RF equipment and OTA (over the air) chambers
• Work with the latest tools and products within Telecom, it will give a phenomenal network at Ericsson with daily interaction with HW design, Production, HW system, Validation, Radio SW etc

The skills you bring:

• Master or Bachelor´s degree in Electronics Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent
• RF and radio knowledge such as RF measurement, instrument handling, wireless systems, and Digital Signal Analysis
• Basic programming skills (Python, MATLAB)Self-motivation with an outstanding ability to learn, share, and to supportFlexibility and innovation skills
• Proficient in English speaking and writing
