Ericsson GmbH in Stockholm, Sweden is seeking a recent graduate to join the Silicon team of ASIC, FPGA, and SoC engineers building high‑performance hardware for today’s and future mobile standards, including 6G.

You’ll work across design, verification, and hands‑on lab testing with about 20 colleagues, with responsibilities tailored to your interests and development goals and opportunities to contribute to 5G rollouts.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in digital logic design, VHDL/Verilog, and FPGA design methodologies.
  • Knowledge in Matlab and scripting languages Python, Tcl and Shell scripting.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and learning from others.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are someone who is passionate about FPGA and have a deep interest in pushing the boundaries of FPGA application

  • Work closely with a team of experts, leveraging collective knowledge to build industry-leading FPGA solutions.

Are you a recent graduate passionate about digital design? Join our Ericsson Silicon team of ASIC, FPGA, and SoC engineers building high-performance hardware for today’s and future mobile standards, including 6G. Our mission is to create first-class hardware solutions that drive future communication technology. To achieve our goals, we collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including standardisation teams and specialist FPGA vendors.

You’ll be part of a collaborative group of about 20 colleagues with a mix of junior and senior experience and diverse backgrounds. Our work spans design, verification, and hands‑on lab and hardware testing. As a new graduate, you’ll be encouraged to explore these areas, and we’ll align your responsibilities with your interests and development goals.
