Job summary

HCL Technologies Sweden AB in Gothenburg seeks a Group Technical Architect to lead enterprise .NET architectures and modernization programs. You will guide engineering teams, set standards for APIs, security, logging and deployment, and partner with stakeholders across delivery teams.

The role demands 13+ years of software engineering experience, strong leadership, and deep expertise in .NET, cloud, and DevOps practices. On-site work in Gothenburg with global delivery collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• 13+ years in software engineering with strong enterprise .NET design and delivery.
• Proven track record as solution, application or technical architect on complex programmes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant platform, cloud, architecture or DevOps certifications advantageous, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Own high-level and detailed architecture for complex .NET applications, APIs, integrations and modernization initiatives.
• Provide hands-on architectural direction to development, QA, DevOps, security and support teams.
• Define resiliency patterns, security considerations, performance targets and observability.
• Engage with business, product, security, infrastructure and vendor stakeholders.
• Maintain architecture artifacts, decisions, risks and roadmaps.
• Build and evolve .NET services, APIs and background workers with clean separation of concerns.
