Job summary

Tessero is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer & Solution Architect to own the enterprise data platform and steer its next evolution. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable ingestion, transformation, and reporting, while guiding a cross-functional team through architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on with Power BI, SQL, and data governance practices.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and product owners.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the target architecture for the enterprise data platform.
• Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Lead architecture and design across ingestion, transformation, semantic models, and reporting.
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Establish CI/CD practices and DevOps guardrails.
• Support onboarding of new source systems and business domains.
• Coach data engineers and team members.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Support future analytics, AI initiatives.
