IKEA Gruppe is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead the strategic technology landscape across the organisation. You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape architecture across Procurement, Finance, Tax, Real Estate, Strategy and People solutions, and to drive digital transformation at scale.
The role requires senior leadership experience, a track record of delivering internet-scale architectures, and the ability to align technology with business strategy in a global retail context.

To be successful as an Enterprise Architect, you have proven advanced experience in information technology, computer science or equivalent. You have experience in leading business transformative change, preferably in a retail environment with an omni-channel context. We believe you have a minimum of 5 years of experience from product and engineering organisations in a leading position and a minimum of 10 years of experience in building internet-facing distributed systems. Likewise, a proven Enterprise Architecture responsibility stretching across larger areas in a company with global stretch and worked with senior leadership.

As a person, you are a good collaborator, have strong leadership skills – able to actively lead and drive architecture work and collaborate with diverse senior stakeholders. You pay attention to detail and actively acquire new knowledge, skills and champion new methods to improve performance in deliveries. You possess knowledge across a range of different technology stacks, ideally applied within a retail sector, and can change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies.
As an Enterprise Architect, you are part of the Enterprise Architecture leadership team and will be part of developing the technology landscape across IKEA and setting the course with strategic direction, principles and standards that enable guidance for the organisation. You will have responsibility for the Business Support domain, covering Procurement, Finance, Tax, Real Estate, Strategy & Business Planning, Safeguarding and People with its architecture and people manage a team of Technology Architects.
Your personality allows you to manage a diverse set of senior stakeholders up to board level to ensure reaching both short- and long-term goals. As part of Enterprise Architecture, your objective is always to serve what is best for the totality.
