Job summary

Midagon is a Nordic, independent management and IT consultancy specialising in complex transformation projects. We seek Enterprise and Information Architects to work with national and international clients, based in Stockholm or Örebro with a hybrid model.

You will join a senior team, acting as a bridge between business and IT, driving architectural decisions from concept to implementation while coaching teams and aligning with strategy. Some on-site client days are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong business understanding and leadership skills.
• Ability to bridge business and IT effectively.
• Proven track record in architectural decisions and technical leadership.
• Experience across cloud, hybrid, IAM, DevOps, data and enterprise architecture.
• Academic IT/CS/Engineering degree and architecture/leadership certifications.

We are now looking for Enterprise and Information Architects to take on assignments for both national and international clients.

You will be based at one of our offices in Stockholm or Örebro, and we offer a hybrid working model. Naturally, some days will be spent on‑site with clients.

The Role

As a consultant at Midagon, you play a key role in our clients’ complex transformation initiatives. With your expertise, you act as an independent advisor, ensuring that clients achieve their business objectives through effective, sustainable and well‑designed IT solutions.

Within Midagon, you will join a senior team with broad experience across business and IT transformation, including roles such as project manager, architect and technical specialist. The team combines strategic competence with deep technical understanding and experience across industries and technology platforms. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are central to how we work.

We are looking for someone who:

We are seeking an architect with strong business understanding and natural leadership skills – someone who can act as the bridge between business and IT. This role requires a person who not only designs solutions, but drives them from idea to implementation with structure, communication and engagement.

You are used to taking responsibility for architectural decisions, requirements, implementation and technical leadership. You are comfortable coaching teams, leading change and anchoring technical decisions at management level. You thrive in environments where technology and business goals meet, and you understand the value of creating solutions that are sustainable, scalable and aligned with organisational strategy.

You bring experience from one or several of the following areas:

• IT architecture and solution design (cloud, hybrid, infrastructure, integrations)
• Identity and access management (IAM, AD, Azure AD, OneIdentity, Entra ID)
• DevOps, automation and CI/CD
• Information and data architecture (Data Lake, Data Mesh)
• Enterprise and business architecture
• Security and compliance (Zero Trust, S3)
• Pre‑studies, processes, requirements management and technical project leadership

It is highly advantageous if you hold an academic degree in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field, as well as certifications within architecture or leadership.
