Job summary

Yuno is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Integrations team, connecting Yuno's platform to PSPs, acquirers, and gateways worldwide. This hands-on leadership role combines technical direction, people management, and deep payments knowledge to deliver scalable solutions that power global commerce.

You'll mentor engineers, set architectural standards, and collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to enable secure, reliable integrations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in payments companies, payments-related teams, or PSP integrations.
• Deep experience with payments infrastructure, including network tokens, routing, and transaction optimization.
• Solid hands-on backend engineering experience, with Java, Golang, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles.
• Experience setting standards for AI-assisted coding and code generation using LLMs.
• Experience delivering in agile environments and adapting processes to team needs.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for API and payment integration evolution.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineers to build a high-performing team.
• Own system and integration architecture, contributing to development and code reviews.
• Drive API design, performance, security, and maintainability best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align solutions with business needs.
• Ensure scalable, reliable integrations that can support global payment volumes.
• Guide engineers with architectural direction and hands-on guidance.
