Job summary

Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) seeks an Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects, combining technical expertise with strong project leadership to drive AWS-based implementations for clients.

The EM will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate discussions, ensure alignment with customer outcomes, and apply AWS frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• 3+ years of experience in managing technical programs/projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading other project managers on multi-project programs.
• Experience with Agile and PM tools like Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or Taiga.

The EM will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate discussions, ensure alignment with customer outcomes, and apply AWS frameworks such as the Well‑Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate engineering discussions, and ensure alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements mapped to business outcomes.
• Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud computing.
• 3+ years of experience in project management of technical programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in program or engagement management, leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects.
• Experience with Agile and project management toolsets such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne, or Taiga.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT, and lines of business across organizations or equivalent.
• AWS experience preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
• Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
• Experience applying AWS frameworks like the Well‑Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision‑makers.

Additional Requirements

This role requires the candidate to be a Swedish National and have business‑level proficiency in the Swedish language.
