Job summary

Tata Technologies is seeking an Emission Service Engineer to join a specialized laboratory environment focused on propulsion systems, emissions measurement, and advanced vehicle testing. You will operate, maintain, and develop emissions testing equipment for vehicle verification across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on calibration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineers and operators in a dynamic lab setting.

Qualifications

Technical upper secondary education or equivalent technical background.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Service Engineer or similar role.
Experience in emissions, engine, propulsion systems or related automotive engineering areas.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
Good communication and ability to work across teams.
Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Perform planned service and maintenance on emissions measurement equipment.
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate emissions instruments used in testing facilities and laboratories.
Support reliability and availability of testing equipment and systems.
Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, laboratory teams, and test operators.
Support emissions testing and verification activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement of test equipment and laboratory operations.
Ensure accuracy and quality of measurement data through maintenance and calibration procedures.
