We are currently looking for an Emission Service Engineer to join a highly specialized testing and laboratory environment focused on propulsion systems, emissions measurement, and advanced vehicle testing.

About the Assignment

As an Emission Service Engineer, you will support the operation, maintenance, and development of advanced emissions testing equipment used in vehicle and propulsion system verification.

You will work in a dynamic laboratory environment that supports testing of complete vehicles, driveline systems, and propulsion technologies. The role combines hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, calibration activities, and close collaboration with engineers, operators, and stakeholders involved in testing and validation activities.

Main Responsibilities

As an Emission Service Engineer, you will:

• Perform planned service and maintenance activities on emissions measurement equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate emissions instruments used in testing facilities and laboratories.
• Support the reliability and availability of testing equipment and systems.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, stakeholders, laboratory teams, and test operators.
• Support emissions testing and verification activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to test equipment and laboratory operations.
• Help ensure the accuracy and quality of measurement data through proper maintenance and calibration procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Technical upper secondary education or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical role.
• Experience within emissions, engine, transmission, propulsion systems, manufacturing, or related automotive engineering areas.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience working within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of automotive engineering standards and testing environments.
• Electrical authorization or certification.
• Experience with emissions testing systems and laboratory equipment
