Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Sweden is seeking a senior Legal & Compliance professional to strengthen our global compliance programs across the EMEIA region. You will drive anti-corruption, anti-trust and export control initiatives, partner with internal teams and external advisors, and help embed a culture of compliance through training and guidance.

The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, strong English, and the ability to travel within the region.

Qualifications

Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Degree level in a relevant subject; legal qualification preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role; internal audit/controls experience is a plus.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering in an international environment.
MS Office 365 proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Excellent communication and influencing skills; able to work under pressure with limited supervision.
Self-starter; able to manage multiple priorities and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

Act as a key member of the Legal & Compliance function, supporting development and oversight of the Group’s compliance programs.
Help identify, manage and solve compliance risks, and advise on compliance topics.
Design, develop, and continuously improve the EMEIA Division’s compliance programs.
Raise awareness and adoption of compliance programs through regular training.
Collaborate with the M&A team for due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Conduct compliance investigations and reports to the Code of Conduct Committee.
