Job summary

Accenture Industry X in Gothenburg is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with proven automotive experience to design, develop and maintain embedded software powering next-generation vehicle platforms.

You will write in C/C++ for embedded targets, work with Linux or QNX, and collaborate across teams to ensure performance, reliability, and safety in complex vehicle networks. This role offers strong development opportunities, mentorship, and global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Automotive embedded software experience essential, production/series background preferred.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ in embedded contexts.
• Hands-on knowledge of in-vehicle networks and integration.
• Experience with QNX or Embedded Linux environments.
• Solid debugging skills near hardware constraints (memory, timing, performance).
• Nice-to-have: Android Automotive, AUTOSAR Adaptive, Hypervisor, SOME/IP.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Accenture is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer with proven Automotive industry experience to build and maintain embedded software powering next-generation vehicle platforms. You will join our Industry X practice in Gothenburg and collaborate with industry-leading experts across our global network to help our clients build cutting-edge solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software components across the product lifecycle (design → implementation → testing → release)
• Implement robust, efficient features in C/C++ for embedded targets
• Work with Embedded Linux or QNX environments depending on platform needs
