Accenture is hiring Embedded MCU Software Developers to strengthen our automotive team in Gothenburg. Industry X is Accenture's capability focused on engineering and manufacturing transformation - it's about how products are designed, built, connected, and operated across their entire lifecycle.

About the Role

In this role you develop safety-critical embedded software at the heart of modern automotive systems, working close to the hardware on next-generation MCU platforms. In an interdisciplinary setup, you contribute to reliable, secure, and real-time capable platform software. This role is based on‑site in Gothenburg, thus we look for candidates having the right to work in Sweden or the EU.

Your Mission

You design, implement, and integrate low‑level MCU software and platform basic software, ensuring timing, safety, and security requirements are met. Your work enables stable and testable ECU platforms used in series automotive products.

What Awaits You

Platform Foundations

You implement and integrate low‑level MCU software modules and platform BSW components, enabling essential OS, communication, and diagnostic capabilities.

Real‑Time & Performance

You develop real‑time tasks and timing‑critical features, supporting performance, latency, and system behavior analyses on multicore MCUs.

Safety & Security Built‑In

You contribute to secure boot, bootloader functionality, and cybersecurity concepts while supporting safety and security compliance activities.

Qualification

What We're Looking Forward To

• You have a completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a comparable technical field.
• You bring solid experience in embedded software development for automotive MCUs, ideally in safety‑relevant or low‑level environments.
• You have hands‑on experience with MCU platform software, RTOS, low‑level drivers, or basic software concepts.
• You are familiar with real‑time constraints, timing analysis, bootloaders, and embedded security concepts.
• You are willing to travel occasionally depending on project needs and enjoy collaboration in cross‑functional teams.
• You communicate fluently in English; Swedish and/or German language skills are a plus.
