Job summary

Ubiquiti Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer for our Stockholm, Sweden team. You will develop kernel-mode and user-space firmware for the UniFi-Protect product line, from bootloader to user-space, and contribute to hardware testing and diagnostics.

Work closely with EE, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, and Manufacturing teams to deliver robust embedded software for Linux platforms and ARM-based devices. Fluency in English and a passion for embedded development are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Familiar with embedded Linux driver and kernel/user mode development.
• Fluent in written and spoken English to collaborate globally.

Responsibilities

• Implement kernel-mode and user-space firmware for UniFi-Protect devices from bootloader to user-space.
• Develop features for hardware testing and diagnostics of embedded devices.
• Collaborate with EE, Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, Factory and Manufacturing teams.
