Job summary

Volvo Cars Göteborg seeks an experienced systems engineer specializing in embedded software and diagnostics. You will design diagnostic solutions for the core system, define the software and system requirements, and verify the design to ensure the highest quality and safety across the vehicle lifecycle.

You will work with teams across engineering, manufacturing and aftersales to enable robust diagnostics, OTA updates, and data collection. A B.Sc./M.Sc.

Qualifications

• Experience of embedded systems.
• Experience of software and hardware design for embedded systems.
• Diagnostics standards (ISO14229, SAE-J2012, SAE-1979).
• Authoring software requirements according to ASPICE (SYS and SWE).
• Linux and/or WSL.
• Swedish driving license B.

Responsibilities

• Design diagnostic solutions for the core system and verify the design.
• Define system and software requirements for the diagnostic design.
• Maintain diagnostic databases and ensure high quality, safety and OTA readiness.
