Job summary

SoCode Limited in Cambridge is seeking an Embedded C/C++ Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team developing medical devices. You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, from concept to release, in a hands-on role that impacts patient care.

The position emphasizes embedded systems, RTOS/Linux/Qt familiarity, and collaboration with hardware and software peers, with a strong emphasis on robust, well-documented code.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years’ commercial experience with C and/or C++.
• Good software engineering practices, including Git, testing and documentation.
• Working knowledge of Python.

What you’ll bring:
