Job summary

Axis Communications AB in Lund is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electronics team within Production Systems Hardware. You will combine electronics and electrical design with hands-on engineering to develop the equipment used to manufacture Axis products.

You will work on electrical schematics, select components, test solutions, and contribute to both new machines and improvements to existing equipment, traveling occasionally to contract manufacturers.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or higher in electronics engineering or a similar field.
• At least three years' experience of electrical design for machines and systems.
• Very good communication skills in English and Swedish.
• Experience of the EPLAN ECAD software.
• Knowledge of CE marking.
• International production experience, or experience of developing production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the electrical design of machines used to produce Axis products.
• Build and order prototypes for evaluation.
• Solder and carry out other practical tasks on our prototypes.
• The role may include some travel, mainly to our contract manufacturers.
