Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our expanding team in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The role involves liaising with trades, coordinating site activities, and delivering weekly reports and toolbox talks on a large data centre project.

Ideal candidates have an electrical trade certificate and proven experience in MEICA contracting environments, with strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certificate is required.
• Experience in a mechanical/electrical contracting environment is essential.
• Data centre experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and coordinate site activities alongside other trades.
• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
• Attend daily/weekly meetings.
• Manage labour requirements in line with project programme.
• Maintain quality of works to a high level.
• Ensure Sub Contractors are working efficiently.
• Notify line manager of all variations and delays.
• Ensure all plant materials onsite meet agreed specifications.
• Coordinate and store all delivered materials safely.
• Review Sub Contractors plant and access equipment certification.

We are please to announce that we are currently recruiting for Electrical Supervisors to join our expanding team in Eskilstuna, Sweden.

• Liaise and co-ordinate site activities alongside other trades.

• Carry out weekly reports and issue to line manager.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Prepare two weeks look ahead for upcoming works.
• Attending daily/weekly meetings.
• Manage Labour requirements are in line as per project program requirements.
• Maintain Quality of the works to a high level.
• Ensure Sub Contractors are working as efficiently as possible.
• Notify line manager of all variations and delays.
• Ensure all plant materials onsite are as per agreed specifications.
• Coordinate and store all delivered materials in a safe and secure manner.
• Review all Sub Contractors Plant and access equipment is certified and in good working condition.

Ensuring that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including:

• Health & Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner.
• Review ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety.
• Ensuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors.
• Complete weekly ‘don’t walk by’ cards.

Skills, qualification & experience:

• Relevant electrical trade certificate
• Previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential
• Data Centre experience is advantageous
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Word & Excel is required
