Job summary

Priority Engineering is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the technical side of our Process and E&I packages on a major green-industrial project in Boden, northern Sweden. You will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the client's EPCM team, construction managers, QA/QC and other site packages.

You will own technical information, raise RFIs, manage take-offs and interface with procurement, supply chain and site crews to turn design into workable packs for construction.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience as an electrical project or site engineer with an E&I or MEP contractor.
• Experience on industrial, process, energy, water or data centre projects.
• Confident reading SLDs, cable schedules and layout drawings, and running an RFI/TQ process.
• Working knowledge of IEC standards for LV installations.
• A degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on site in Boden.
• The right to work in Sweden / the EU.

Responsibilities

• Own the package technical information: IFC drawings, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, layouts and specifications.
• Raise and close RFIs and technical queries with the EPCM engineering team.
• Produce material take-offs and requisitions, and track deliveries against the programme.
• Liaise with the commercial team on procurement.
• Be the first point of contact for our supply chain.
• Turn design into workable packs for the site crews, with the Construction Managers.
• Coordinate interfaces with the process electrical, HVAC and civil packages.
• Support QA/QC on ITPs, test records and inspection sign-off.
• Maintain red-line as-builts and build the handover and O&M documentation.

We are expanding our site team for a major green-industrial project in Boden, northern Sweden. We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the technical side of our Process and E&I packages across the plant.

Typical scope

MV, LV distribution and sub-mains, cable containment, power and lighting, small power, earthing and bonding, and install of fire alarm, security and telecoms systems.
