Job summary

SSA Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its M&E contracting team in Sweden for a major data centre development. You will support electrical works across the project lifecycle, review drawings and specifications, and coordinate with subcontractors and the wider project team on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 3+ years' experience in electrical construction or building services.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting and related services.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and submittals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors and project team on site activities.
• Assist QA/QC procedures, inspections and installation verification.
• Monitor progress and report programme updates to management.
• Maintain electrical documentation and project records.
• Attend site, engineering and planning meetings.
• Raise and track RFIs with design and construction teams.
• Identify and help resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Support tracking of variations, progress claims and commercial information.
• Assist snagging, close-out and handover of electrical systems.

Our client is a highly regarded M&E Contractor with a strong presence across Europe and an established track record delivering large-scale, technically complex projects.

Due to continued growth within their European operations, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their project team in Sweden, working on a major data centre development.

About the role:

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Support the coordination and delivery of electrical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical submittals.

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and installation practices.
• Good organisational, communication and coordination skills.
• Comfortable working with subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Previous data centre, industrial or mission-critical project experience is highly advantageous.
