Job summary

Alfa Laval in Flemingsberg, Sweden, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong EPLAN expertise for a consulting assignment. You will design electrical hardware, automation for process plants, and take ownership from specification to documentation.

The role involves collaboration with project managers, suppliers and customers, ensuring compliance with IEC standards and leveraging ABB drives and Siemens components.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field.
• Several years of electrical design experience in industrial engineering or process industries.
• Experience working on customer projects and ownership from spec to documentation.
• Familiarity with European IEC standards andUL/cUL regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design and engineering using EPLAN.
• Design and construction of automation/control cabinets in industrial environments.
• Electrical specifications for complete process plants.
• Electrical calculations and hardware specifications for panels.
• Preparation of technical documentation.
• Selection and specification of electrical components.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Support cost optimization through efficient design and component selection.
• Work independently with customer projects and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Stay updated with new technologies and tools.
