Introduction
Are you an engineer with the ability to drive and document requirements for the driver cab environment?
The role focuses on ergonomic aspects, including accessibility to knobs, stalks, and switches, and how information and messages are presented on displays. You will help define technical solutions within prerequisites (function, style, geometry, and regulations), support and lead mechanical design activities, and contribute to project deliveries and product/system roadmaps.
Note: this is not a CAD role; the focus is on ergonomic and user interaction.
The role includes discussions on driver comfort, seating position, pedal geometry, and related aspects. You will build and maintain a broad network across the organization, providing input based on component history and project needs. At an experienced level, you apply practical knowledge gained through education and relevant work experience.
