Job summary

emagine is seeking a QA engineer to drive delivery and execution of tests to ensure maps function seamlessly on the web. You will bring deep web tech knowledge, browser behavior understanding, coding ability, and proficiency with browser developer tools.

You will enhance testing infrastructure, validate builds for maps on web releases, and work with developers to design tools that improve product quality and team processes.

Summary:

The client’s team is looking for a highly motivated QA engineer who will be responsible for the delivery and execution of tests to help make maps work seamlessly on the web. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of core web technologies, a solid understanding of how web browsers work, programming expertise, and proficiency with web developer tools for various browsers.

Main Responsibilities:

This role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities which includes enhancing current testing infrastructure and validating builds and deployments for maps on web releases. You’ll also work closely with the development team to design and implement new tools, in order to continuously improve both the quality of the product and the processes of the team.

• Hands‑on experience with testing large scale web applications.
• Build clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test plans.
• Investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems.
• File issues and report status of current and in‑development features.
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies/Scrum and rapid releases.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
