Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a DevOps & Automation Engineer for the GE ADMS Series 6 program based in Göteborg/Malmö, Sweden. You will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP, partnering with software engineers, ADMS architects, and utility stakeholders.

You'll work in a hybrid model, with 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience expected. The role emphasizes pipeline-as-code, automation, security alignment, and delivering reliable deployment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, software engineering, infrastructure automation, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Terraform for cloud provisioning across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management and server provisioning.
• Strong Python scripting skills for automation and tooling.
• Knowledge of GitHub workflows, branching strategies, and PR management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in hybrid, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD across the GE ADMS Series 6 program.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to increase release frequency and quality.
• Use Terraform to provision cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Implement and maintain Ansible playbooks for provisioning and configuration management.
• Develop Python scripts and automation tooling to streamline tasks.
• Manage artifact repositories and support release management processes.
• Administer GitHub repositories with PR workflows and code integration processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into automated solutions.
• Coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams for secure connectivity.
