Job summary

Cyient Limited in Ljungby, Sweden is seeking a hands-on Development Engineer to join an R&D team optimizing next-generation heat pump technology for tumble dryers. You will combine thermodynamics, physical testing, data analysis and problem-solving to improve real products.

Responsibilities include planning and executing heat pump tests, analyzing data to improve energy efficiency and drying performance, and collaborating across multiple engineering and lab teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Energy, Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with heat pumps, refrigeration, HVAC or similar thermal systems.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics and refrigeration/heat-pump processes.
• Experience in laboratory testing, verification or product development.
