A leading automotive engineering firm in Södertälje seeks a Development Engineer responsible for creating simulation models in HiL and SiL environments for powertrain systems. The ideal candidate has experience with Simulink, Simscape, and MATLAB, and a comprehensive understanding of control systems. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for model development of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) environments for powertrain systems. You will work primarily with Simulink, Simscape, and MATLAB to develop, maintain, and enhance simulation models that enable verification and validation of control systems.
We are not looking for testers or test case developers — our focus is on building robust, high-fidelity test environment models, and our testers are our internal customers.
You are a driven and analytical engineer who enjoys solving complex modeling challenges and takes ownership of your deliveries. You are collaborative, structured, and have a strong interest in system simulation and control.
