Job summary

SEB seeks a senior .NET Developer for the Accounts & Payments domain, joining an agile, international team. You will help transform the platform architecture, build microservices, and deliver robust APIs and test automation in a modern tech stack including C#, Angular, Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD.

You will participate in 24/7 on-call support, collaborate with product owners and business experts, and contribute to secure, scalable solutions across the payments landscape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years programming experience with C#
• Experience with Angular/React front end
• Experience using AI tools in development tasks
• Experience in developing microservices and SPAs
• Experience in API and integration tests using ReadyAPI, Protractor, Selenium and Web UI tests
• Passion for development with test automation and new tech adoption
• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with Agile practices
• Strong focus on delivering high-quality services to stakeholders
• University-level IT/CS or related degree
• A positive, problem-solving, helpful attitude

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain payments domain systems within a modern microservices landscape

• Contribute to CI/CD and containerized deployments using Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift

About the role:

Accounts & Payments is undergoing a major transformation from a business and market as well as from an architectural perspective.As a .NET Developer withinPayments & Reporting, you will play a key role in SEB’s digital transformation journey, helping to shape the future of the bank. You will be part of anagile internationalteam of highly motivated and creative colleagues that work in close collaboration with our product owners and business specialists. Cross collaboration and interaction with other teams within Technology withfocuson our delivery is also part of the work. The team’s main responsibility is to develop andmaintainsystemsfor the Paymentsdomain.

Our technical landscape is based on a modernmicroservicesarchitecture, with responsive web applications developed using contemporary engineering practices.Our stack includes C#, .NET,MSSQL,Kafka,Angularand JavaScript/TypeScript. We use Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containerization. For versioncontrolwe use GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.Most of our containers useLinuxsosome basic Linux skills arerequired.Since our applications run 24/7, on-callis part of the job.

To thrive in the role, we believe you have:

• 5+ years programmingexperience with C#

• Experience working with front end technologies Angular/React (willing to up-skill in Angular if needed)

• Experience inusingAI-toolsand you want to use AI-toolsfor most of the development tasks.

• Experience indevelopingmicroservicesand Single Page Applications.

• Experience in developing and executing API- andintegrationtests based on software requirements. Using tools such asReadyAPI, Protractor,Seleniumand Web-based UI tests.

• A passion for developmentincluding test automationwith a creative and curious mindset fornew technologies, platforms, and tools.Youoftenhavetakenthe initiative to implementnew technologiesand/or tools for test automation.

• A strong senseof responsibility and a collaborative, team-orientedmindset, with a deep appreciation for teamwork and agile methodologies. You have actively been improvingcollaboration with other teams.

• A focus on delivering high-quality service to internal counterparties and stakeholders

• A university-level education in a field related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related subject

• Avery positive,problem solving andhelpfulperson

It would be considered anadvantage, ifyou have:

• Experience deploying and hosting applicationsinGCP

• Have someexperience around performancetuning andsecurity compliance

• Experiencefromfinancial industry in general andthe payments sectorin particular
