Axis Communications AB is hiring a Design for Test Engineer in Lund to join the Fixed Dome Industrialization Production and Test team. You will contribute to production test system design, integrating hardware and software, and optimizing test flow across modules.

The role involves collaboration with multiple disciplines, travel to production sites (~30 days/year), and opportunities to influence development directions while growing professionally in a global leader in network video.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge in software development is required.
• Bonus for prior experience with National Instruments TestStand is a plus.

What you will do as a Design for Test Engineer

• Plan and implement the production test system and in cooperation with your colleagues ensure that the test flow is optimized and with the right quality level
• Integrate hardware and software into our production test systems
• Configure test sequences in National Instruments TestStand
• Secure test hardware for various prototype builds, both internal and at production partners

Who are we looking for/Who are you?

• We welcome applications from both junior and experienced engineers
• We believe that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• You have at least basic knowledge in software development
• An interest in troubleshooting, bug finding and repeated verification is considered a strong advantage.
• Previous experience from National Instruments TestStand is considered as a bonus

The position includes some travel, where you typically visit our production sites to set up the production systems (Approximately 30 days per year).
