Microsoft Sweden 1172 AB is seeking a Critical Environment Operations Manager to lead datacenter CE teams and ensure safety, security, and reliability across Microsoft’s global cloud platform in Gavle. You will manage critical mechanical, electrical, and control systems, driving availability and efficiency.

The role requires on-site presence with travel between sites, strong leadership, and a background in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of mission-critical service management in IT or physical operations.
• Strong people management experience, including hiring and mentoring.
• Willingness to travel between sites; a valid driver's license required.
• This role is on-site; own transport advised due to limited public transport.

Responsibilities

• Empower a culture of safety, security and compliance in datacenter operations.
• Lead a team of Mechanical, Electrical and Control System professionals.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of CE equipment.
• Maximize CE availability and operational efficiency.
• Reduce high-impact CE incidents year over year.
• Deliver cost and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Report on Power/Temperature/Humidity/SLA monitoring and analytics.
