Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and evolve our Data Hub, the foundation for trusted, reusable, near real-time data across Logistics, Shipping, Operations and Finance.

You will design, build and operate scalable data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric and Azure, focusing on production quality, reliability and reuse, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data products.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating scalable data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data transformations.
• Solid understanding of lakehouse architecture and batch/streaming patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate scalable data pipelines and transformations.
• Develop reusable data models and core business entities (Cargo, Capacity, Voyage).
• Collaborate with architects, platform teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Ensure data products are well documented, easily consumable and reusable across the organization.
• Contribute to near real-time and event-driven data patterns where relevant.
