ComeOn Group in Stockholm, Sweden, is seeking a data platform administrator to own MySQL and MongoDB across development and production. The role blends hands-on ops with growth into broader data engineering responsibilities, supporting analytics and pipelines in a hybrid work model.

You will tackle uptime, schema changes, performance tuning, data migrations, and upgrades while collaborating with developers, BI, QA and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in MySQL and MongoDB administration.
• Experience with schema changes, large-table operations, performance tuning and migrations.
• Strong operational mindset: high-availability setups, backups and platform reliability.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (BigQuery, AWS, GCP).
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, SQL). Proactive, confident and ready to take ownership.
• Collaborates effectively with developers, product owners, BI teams, QA and DevOps.
• Eager to modernize legacy database structures and expand into broader data engineering responsibilities, including understanding modern data-flow tooling and pipelines.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

We are seeking a technically strong Data Platform Administrator with deep operational expertise, someone confident in managing MySQL and MongoDB across all environments.
