Job summary

Cognizant in Göteborg/Malmö, Sweden seeks a Data Migration Lead to steer strategy, execution, and governance of a major ADMS Series 6 data migration for European utility clients.

You will lead end-to-end data migration, design ETL architectures, ensure data quality, mentor engineers, and coordinate with stakeholders to deliver a secure, compliant migration across hybrid delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data migration or related technical delivery roles.
• Proven track record leading data migration projects and engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of SCADA, GIS, and utility IT/OT systems.
• Experience designing ETL architectures and validation frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating hybrid/delivered teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data migration strategy across a multi-person team.
• Own integrity, quality, governance, and delivery of utility data migrations.
• Design and oversee ETL architectures and migration methodologies.
• Provide technical leadership to Data Migration Engineers.
• Establish migration plans, milestones, and resource strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders and project leadership to ensure program delivery.
• Manage risks, dependencies, issues, and remediation plans.
• Lead data validation, testing, cutover planning, and deployment.
• Drive continuous improvement of migration processes and governance.
