Job summary

Atea Sverige is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help build and evolve a modern data platform across the Nordics and Baltics. You will collaborate with data architects, governance specialists, product owners, and development teams to ensure scalable, trusted, and well-documented data products.

The role focuses on pipelines, datamodels, lineage, and enabling AI-ready data assets. You will work within a data-driven transformation, contributing technically and functionally, and supporting data

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft data platform, especially Fabric.
Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, and Purview.
Strong data modelling and data transformation skills.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata, lineage, and documentation.
Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, models, and ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric.
Design scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and enterprise apps.
Work with multiple source systems and ensure proper structuring, transformation, and availability of data.
Support the information model and common data structures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Support data quality processes with stakeholders to resolve data issues.
Contribute to metadata management, data cataloguing, and data lineage using Purview.
Support Master Data Management initiatives for key business entities.
Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Ensure adherence to governance principles and platform best practices.
Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and reusable patterns.
